Professional Coffee Education for Everyone
The Coffee Lab is a teaching space, coffee cupping lab, and roastery located downstairs from Hala Tree Cafe in Ka'a'awa, O'ahu.

The lab hosts daily tastings of 100% Kona coffee direct from our farm on the Big Island. We also offer brewing and roasting classes, as well as private events and professional services for coffee growers, roasters, and cafe owners.

Expert Staff
Our lab is led by coffee professionals with decades of experience in brewing, roasting, sensory analysis, and farm and cafe operations.
The team includes award-winning coffee growers, professional coffee educators, and talented sensory professionals all with deep industry knowledge and hands-on experience.
Professional Equipment
With top-of-the line brewing and roasting equipment, we are able to dial in precise parameters for any coffee.

Beautiful Location
The Coffee Lab is located in Ka'a'awa, O'ahu near the foot of The Crouching Lion rock formation overlooking Kahana Bay.
The lab is located on the ground floor, below Hala Tree Cafe and sports floor-to-ceiling windows in the front with views of palm trees and the open ocean.
